Steven D. Barton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven D. Barton of North Ridgeville, Ohio, born in East Liverpool, Ohio, who passed away on May 11, 2026 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steven touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father William S Barton; and his stepfather Timothy McGurren. He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Scott Barton, Shannon Gibson (Rick) and Crystal Etterman; his siblings, Sherri Fickle (John) and Mike Barton; and his mother Erla McGurren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Avon VFW Hall (36950 Mills Rd, Avon, OH 44011).
