He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Acker and Pearl Acker; his wife Jane; and his son Joel. He is survived by: his siblings, Gene (late Ruth) of Hinckley and Eunice Cerman (Stanley) of Bedford; his children, Jeff (Brenda) of Strongsville and Judi Lucarini of North Royalton; and his grandchildren, Christopher Lucarini (Mary Rose), Amanda Olsen (Gerald), Danette Reeves (Kyle), Kelley Jo Hemme (Dave), Courtney Abbott (Brandon) and Katherine Acker.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Strongsville (17444 Drake Rd, Cleveland, OH 44136). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Strongsville.
