He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Spade and Mary Spade (Bush); his wife Ruth Marie Spade (Knapik); and his siblings, Shirley and Ricky.
He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Spade (Bettyjean) and Paula Brower; his grandchildren, Clinton (Jennifer), Jennifer, Alexandra, Charles, Daniel and Nicholas; and his sister Pat. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
