We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Buford D. Newman Sr. of Norton, Ohio, born in Nashville, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Buford R. Newman and Katie Jameson Newman; his wife Bette Jean Thayer; his stepmother Mary Newman; and his sisters, Mary Fulks (Boots) and Billie Jean Maisano.

He is survived by : his children, Kelly Mocarski (Thomas), Dan Newman and Jeannie Wigal (David Garvey); his grandchildren, Thomas Mocarski (Christina Rhodes), Caitlin Matovich (Scott), Zack, Addison Wigal, Clayton and Cole Newman; his great grandchildren, Azaleah Rhodes-Seefeldt, Lola and Blair Matovich; his brother David (Mike); his sisters-in-law, Linda Newman, Sally McDaniel and Mildred Carneal (Ed); and also, Mark, Tami Brown, Richard and Pam Bacha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home - Norton (3250 Greenwich Rd, Norton, OH 44203).
