He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hinton and Illean Hinton (Meade); his son Danny Ray; his mother-in-law Wanda Rex; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Rex and Michael Hague.

He is survived by : his spouse Laurie Rex; his daughter Misty Chestnut; his grandchildren, Andrew and Stacie; his daughter Danielle Satina (Will Griffith); his grandchildren, Lauren, Brandon and Eric Satina; his sister Linda; his brother-in-law Larry Strickland; his parents-in-law, Duane and Donna Rex; his sisters-in-law, Dena Stone and Linda Hague; his brother Duane; his sister-in-law Jessie Rex; and his close friend Don Swan. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home - Norton (3250 Greenwich Rd, Norton, OH 44203). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
