He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Murphy (Danny) and Debra Ocheltree (Mark); his siblings, Zane Geitgey, Keith Geitgey (Martha) and Sandy Killough (Delbert); his grandchildren, Angela (Heath), Bethany (Brett), Daniel (Sarah), Andrew (Markie), Johnmark (Heather), Melissa (Daniel) and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Gabriel, Lauren, Adam, Maggie, Dylan, Liam, Logan, Lydia, Elliot, Finn, Silas, Myalynn, Mason, Cody, Tessa, Boston, Titan, Samson and Roman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (3250 Greenwich Rd, Norton, OH 44203). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church Missionary Fund, PO Box 432, 5026 Ridge Road, Wadsworth, OH 44282-0432, in memory of James.
