He is survived by: his children, Rodney Gunn and JoDee Beal (Mike); his grandchildren, Ashley Goode (Nick), Todd Beal and Austin Gunn (Hali); his great grandchild Owen Goode; his brother-in-law Louie Dietry; and his siblings, Kathy Gunn, Theresa Gunn, Curtis Gunn and Jimmy Gunn.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (3250 Greenwich Rd, Norton, OH 44203). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ODNR Division of Wildlife (Donation forms will be available at the funeral home), or Goodwill Industries (goodwillgoodskills.org/donate (https://goodwillgoodskills.org)), in memory of James S. Gunn.
