She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Freeman and Donna Freeman (Pace); her husband Gilbert Julius Kovats, Jr.; her siblings, Earl Freeman, Jr. and Delores Kercher; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Kercher, Isabella Widener and Mary Steinmueller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Reeves (Steve) and Karen Tenney (Vernon); and her sisters-in-law, Norma Freeman and Helen Knifley. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to One of a Kind Pet Rescue, 1929 W. Market St. Akron, OH 44313, in memory of Lorene Kovats.
