With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Irene Cooper of Norton, Ohio, born in Yukon, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 25, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Cross; her husband Robert Cooper; and her siblings, David "L. D." Cross and Sereda "Christine" Summerton. She is survived by: her children, Deryl Cooper, Diane Cooper (Charles), Debbie Carpenter (Randy Chapman), Linda Oros, Carolyn Forshee and Tammy Singleton; her granddaughters, Kaylee Huth (Travis Forrer), Jessica Milleman (Jimmy Tagliarina) and Melissa Rojas (Angel); her great grandchildren, Malia, Kaitlyn, Maxwell, Sophia and Asher; her siblings, Edsil Cross, Lloyd "Hootsie" Cross (Judy), Kathryn Madron, Lois Madron, Ruth Cullum and Donna Robinson; and her caregiver Margie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews.
