It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis (Des Marais) Arkett of Norton, Ohio, born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father George F. Marais; her stepmother Louise S. Des Marais (Greve); her husband Allen Howard Arkett; her brother Richard F. Des Marais; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Lefeber; and her sibling's children, Lisa Arkett Carver and Andre Lefeber.
She is survived by: her children, Stuart Arkett (Marilyn), Jennifer Arkett (Lonnie) and Casley Nagengast (Robert); her son-in-law Jon Carver; her sister-in-law Jean Somerset (Harold); her sibling's children, Cheri Des Marais (Steve McCall), Jim Des Marais (Lyn) and Anthony Lefeber (Pat); her grandchildren, Erin (Andrew), Camille, Gabrielle, Claire, Sara (Jack), Keaton and Paula; and her great grandchild Ivy. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
