We bid farewell to Shirley Ann Bird (Norton, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 23, 2025 at the age of 93. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Werntz and Lillian Werntz; her husband Russell; her brother Jerry; her son David; and her grandson Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Scalf (Donald), Dennis Bird (Cheryl) and Patti Bowsher (Buster); her daughter-in-law Denise; and her grandchildren, Mandi (Kyle), Russell (Jessi), Hillary (Tom), Nick (Jenny), Jennifer, Allison (David), Kristie (Matthew), Bradley (Beth) and Brent (Katie). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Shirley's name can be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
