With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathy Beier of Norwalk, Ohio, born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on February 13, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McBennett and Sarah McBennett (O'Brien); her former husband Jay Whitt; her grandchildren, Jordan Beier and Angel Szymanel; and her siblings, Mary Ann, Patrick, Johnny and Charlotte.
She is survived by: her husband William Beier Sr.; her children, Sarah Cianci (Peter) of Brook Park, Diana Slauterbeck (Robert) of Norwalk, Tammy Rice (Darren) of Norwalk, William Beier Jr. (Mary) of Norwalk and Timothy Jon Beier (Jennifer) of Norwalk; her grandchildren, Ben Szymanel (Michelle), Tony Szymanel, Scottie (Alex), Slauterbeck, Emma Rice, Amy Sauseda (Lupe), Sid Beier, Amelia Beier, Cami Beier and Gracie Beier; her brother Jim McBennett (Martha) of Sheffield Village; and her nephew Ralph Schroeder (Brenda) of Mt. Olive, NC. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
