He was predeceased by : his parents, Allen A. Poole and Cora F. Poole (Haynes); his wife Mary E. Poole (Taylor); and his siblings, Arthur J. Poole, Alvin A. Poole, Ethel McKinney, Wanda L. Williams and Delores J. Lemons.

He is survived by : his sons, Roderick A. Poole of Norwalk and Kim T. Poole of Golden Valley, MN. He is also survived by five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
