He was predeceased by: his parents, Marilyn Jean Binting (Hare) and Robert Binting; his sister Deborah Scherer; and his pets, Princess Mercedes Midnight, Tundra and Lady Lexus.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna (Steve), Cole (Norwalk) and David D. Binting (Massillon); his granddaughter Skylarr Story (Norwalk); his brother Dan Binting (Sandusky); and his aunt Gayle Bovia (Greenwich). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Home (314 E Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Dave had a special love and compassion for animals, and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, OH 44857. Donations made in Dave's memory will help provide care, comfort, and a second chance for animals in need, honoring a cause that was truly close to his heart.
