She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Thies and Marie Thies (Nutting); and her siblings, Buddy and Barb. She is survived by: her children, James Hollingsworth (Christina) of Norwalk and Tammy Caskey (Jerald) of Norwalk; her grandchildren, Matthew Caskey, Sean Caskey and Nicole Caskey; and her sister Violet. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
