With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor Genovesi of Norwalk, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eleanor left this world on September 29, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Eleanor farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eleanor is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Gramata and Helen Vorosko Gramata; her husband Joseph Genovesi of Michael's Catholic Church; her son Donald; and her brother Andrew.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Genovesi (Kathryn) of Toledo and Jacqueline Genovesi (Gustavo Gamarra) of Alexandria; and her brother Reverend Raymond Gramata of Greenville. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (38 W League St, Norwalk, OH 44857). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish (6149 Hill Ave, Toledo, OH 43615).
