He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth T. Dankelson and Annette Dankelson (Sennish); his grandson Tommy Dankelson; and his sister Crystal Dankelson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Dankelson (Bertsch); his sons, David Dankelson (Sandy) of Aurora, OH, Dale Dankelson (Marilyn) of Norwalk, OH, Dean Dankelson (Debbie) of Carl Junction, MO and Darin Dankelson (Dede) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Ellie Warwar (Zack), Annie Krakower (Jason), Michael Dankelson, Stephanie Danner (Eric), Shawn Dankelson, Matthew Dankelson, Joseph Dankelson (Elena), Katie, Jeffery Dankelson, Peter and Jacob Dankelson; his great grandchildren, Kendall and Oakley; his sister Karen Riedy; and his nieces, Amy and Andrea.
