We announce the death of Howard Schild of Norwalk, Ohio, born in Monroeville, Ohio, who passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 93. Howard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Schild and Laura Schild (Herner); his wife Regina Schild (Hipp); and his siblings, Joanne Smith, Jeanette Shondel, Russell Schild and William Schild.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lesta Schafer (Edmund) of Port Clinton and Rhonda Doughty (David) of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Luke Schafer of Columbus, Courtney Popek of Stow, Brittany Belcher (Brian) of Columbus and John H. Seitz of Republic; his great grandchildren, Adalee Belcher, Solomon Belcher, Jocelyn Popek and Addison Popek; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Schild and Eda Hipp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
