He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgine Sholes (Martin) and Gilbert Leroy Sholes; and his wife Evelyn Sholes. He is survived by: his sons, James C. Sholes (Kristen) of Clyde and Scott Sholes of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Lathen, Addalyn and Aeson; and his siblings, Mary "Ruth" Owens of Norwalk, William Sholes of Norwalk and Mark Sholes (Cheryl) of Norwalk.
