Jerry B. Gravenhorst Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry B. Gravenhorst of Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry B. Gravenhorst to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Gravenhorst and Madeline Gravenhorst (Wetzel); his siblings, Bernadette Zientek, Rose Marie Leroux and Frederick; and his in-laws, Bob and Florence Laux.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gravenhorst (Laux); his daughters, Donna Schuessler (Michael) of Bowling Green and Karen Schlotterer (Paul) of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Adam Schaffer, Nicholas Schuessler (Kelsey), Cory Schaffer, Katie Schuessler and Sabrina Dye (Hunter); and his great grandchildren, Ava, Lyla, Nola, Peyton and Austin. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren and their spouses; 14 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (314 E Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (91 E Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857).
