Mary Jo Buchanan Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jo Buchanan of Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman J. Hay and Helen B. Hay (Wise); and her brothers, Mike and Jeff. She is survived by: her children, Matt (Crystal) of Kenton, Jacob (Samantha) of Sandusky and Emily Montvilas of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Seth of Sarah, AJ, Atticus and Kaylee; and her siblings, Carolyn Meyer (Jack), Jim Hay (Bonnie), Marty Nighswander (Dave) and Grace Whitehurst. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (314 E Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (1322 Settlement Rd, Norwalk, OH 44857).
