Oberlin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Candelario Villarreal and Leandra Villarreal (Lugo-Salas); his close friend Bonnie Houghtlen; and his siblings, Olivia Villarreal, Elvia Godinez, Noe Villarreal and Edelmiro VillarreL.
He is survived by: his children, Neva Houghtlen, Rachel Villarreal, Tracy Martinez, Nora Luna, Elida Davila, Carmela Alomar, Oberlin Houghtlen and Terry Houghtlen; and his siblings, Sylvia Charles and Florentino Villarreal. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
