Robert A. Marksbury Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Marksbury of Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert "Rex" Marksbury and Bernice Marksbury (Nesselhauf); his stepfathers, Clarence Davidson and Alfred Wiley; his brother Lee Marksbury; his son Robert N. Marksbury; his daughter-in-law Annemarie Marksbury; and his great grandchild Samantha Sangster.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Marksbury (Beck); his children, Victoria Marksbury (Joe Baumer), Andrea Weisenberger (David), Timothy Marksbury (Christina) and Mathew Marksbury (Jennifer); his stepsons, Philip Smith (Kate) and Adam Smith; his sisters, Sharon Decker and Ginger Szmik (Bob); and his sister-in-law Susan Beck. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home (98 W Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
