It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Shaffer (Norwalk, Ohio), born in Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shaffer and Magdalen Shaffer (Breznan); and his siblings, Betty Hoffer (Shaffer), Paul, Roy and Ira Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Diane (Wade); his siblings, Mary Lee (Steve) and David Shaffer (Chris); and his children, Christy Gainok (Mark), Robert Shaffer (Jyoti) and Daniel Shaffer (Heidi). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (314 E Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857).
