He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clifton and Verna Mae Eakes; and his brothers, Lloyd and Floyd. He is survived by: his wife Clarice Irene Owens; and his sons, Michael (Brenda), Gary, Richard (Regina), Dennis and Kevin (Rachael). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
