He is survived by: his fiancée Sonja Thompson; his children, Claude Edward Perry (Jennifer), Michael James Perry (Peggy), David Adam Perry (Melissa) and Carla Perry-Bettac (Brenda); his siblings, Dewell Perry, Patricia Barnett, Dora Helton and Rosa Lee Hensley; and his grandchildren, Brian and Rachael Perry. He is also survived by other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
