He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lee Hill, Edward Stewart, Jimmy and Virgina Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stewart; his children, Linda Meece (Thomas) and Matthew "Jason" Stewart (Katie); his grandchildren, Zachary, Haley Meece, Alex of Tori, A. J., Logan, Tyler and Lizzie Stewart; and his sister Dora Berry.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home (3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, OH 45212). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Perkins Cemetery.
