We announce the death of Daniel R Hawks of Nova, Ohio, who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 46. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mona, Herman Bohland, Merle and Nellie Hawks; his brother-in-law Jeff Beebe; and his mastiff Hercules.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his daughters, Bobbi Burkepile (Steven) of Nova and Chloe Hawks (Jaydon Telakowicz) of Nova; his granddaughters, Billie and Kennedy Burkepile of Nova; his parents, John Rohr of Nova and Donna Hawks of Ashland; his sisters, Erin Beebe of Ashland, Jill MacKenzie (Brad) of Nova and Jonni Reuer (Nick) of Nova; his stepsiblings, Jamie Butdorff (Greg) of Florida, Judd Smerglia (Amy) of Elyria and Julie Halsey (Pete) of Dennison, Ohio; and his close friend Mikey Wood of Penfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
