He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Arnold and Billie Jean Arnold (Herron); his brothers, Ira Arnold and Larry Arnold; and his grandson Christian Arnold.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Pickett; his sons, Emery Arnold (Rachel) of Greenwich, Chris Arnold (Jessika Pratt) of Apple Creek and Travis Arnold (Ashley) of Nova; his grandchildren, Evan Arnold, Paden Arnold, Cameron Arnold, Emmett Arnold, Charlie Arnold, Hailey Sturgeon, Braylen Vogler and Colt Arnold; and his siblings, Diane Olsen and Lukcus Arnold of Lorain.

Donations can be made to the UH Hospital Cleveland Lerners Tower to the cardiac unit in Emery's name.
