He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack and Janet; and his brother Theodore Balzer. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Balzer; his children, Jessica Oudsema (Dan), Elizabeth Kerry (Neil) and Danial Bainbridge (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Elijah Oudsema, Blayne Bainbridge, Aidan Oudsema and Lilith Bainbridge; and his siblings, Mark Balzer of Lorain, Sandy White of Lorain and Linda Stack of Vermilion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with extended family members and faithful dogs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ruggles Church (1364 US-224, New London, OH 44851). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
