He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pitorak and Iria Pitorak; his siblings-in-law, John and Ann Kerr; his brother Richard "Rick" Pitorak; and his granddaughter Lillian Iria Pitorak.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta Pitorak; his children, Bryan Pitorak (Emily), Kevin Pitorak (Maria), Heather Pitorak (Marcus) and Douglas Breehl-Pitorak (Megan); his grandchildren, Grace, Lucas Pitorak, Luciana Menezes and Emilia Pitorak; his sister-in-law Sandy Pitorak (Rick Pitorak); his nephew James Pitorak; his sister-in-law Leslie Kerr; his aunt Elizabeth Pitorak; and his cousin Rotarians.
