Betty Young-Bryant Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 1, 2025, at the age of 94, Betty Young-Bryant of Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Mainous and Mary Lengacher (Cox); her stepfather Homer Lengacher; her son George Young; her brother Ron Mainous; her husbands, Harry B. Burks, Jr., William Young and Duane Bryant; and her close friend Maynard "Scheno" Priesman.
She is survived by: her children, Harry "Skip" Burks III (Linda), Sandra Burks-Schnoor (Fred) and Margaret "Pegge" LaValle (Curt Brown); her grandchildren, Rick (Shelley), Melissa, Victoria, Kimberly (James), Ryan (Darren), Casey (Colleen), Anthony and William "Billy"; and her half-sisters, Brenda and Frances. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
Memorial contributions in Betty's memory may be given to St. Paul United Church of Christ or the Alzheimer's Association.
