We are sad to announce that, on November 26, 2025, at the age of 89, Lois Thurman of Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Hermes and Gertrude Hermes (Gumb); her husband Jack; her siblings, Evelyn Jane Dreier and Francis Eugene Hermes; and her niece Nancy Dreier-Zwiebel.
She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Thurman (Larry McColm); her sisters, Helen Mae Mack, Marcella Ann Besel and Barbara Ellen Hermes; her brother-in-law William "Bill" Smitherman; and her nieces and nephews, Gerald Dreier (Liz), Kevin Hermes, Ellen Mack, Julie Fontana, Tyson Smitherman (Jessica) and Justin Smitherman (Shannon).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church or to an organization of the donor's choice.
