He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson C. Reau and Lavida M. Reau (Humphrey); his wife Frances C. Heller; his sons, William "Chuck" Reau and Nelson Leo Reau (Jess); his brother Joseph Reau (Connie); and his daughter-in-law Tina Reau (Brown).
He is survived by: his children, Barry (Lisa) and Jackie; his grandchildren, Taylor (Jeff), Lindsey (Nate), Amber Buckley (Lucas), William "Bill" (Renee), Christina Williams, Nikita "Niki" Zellner (Ricki) of David, Dalton (Chelsey), Alexis "Lexi" and Amber Smith; and his former wife Patty Burrell. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home - Oak Harbor (165 E Water St, Oak Harbor, OH 43449). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Limestone Cemetery (14751 W Toussaint North Rd, Graytown, OH 43432).
Memorial contributions may be made in Nelson's memory to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
