He is survived by: his spouse Shirley McKenzie Simpson; his nephew Little Larry McKenzie; his brothers, Jeff Simpson and Chuck Vernon; his brothers-in-law, Larry Hightower and Dean Johnson; his stepdaughter Judy; his granddaughter Brandy Carter (Justin); his great grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, Luke, Shelbie and Justin; his great great grandchild Colton; his siblings, Virginia Vernon, Herb Simpson (Linda), Tim Simpson (Lori), Pam Johnson and Patty Hightower; and his brothers-in-law, Doc McKenzie (Marsha) and Danny McKenzie (Linda). He is also survived by nieces, and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
