He was predeceased by: his father Foster Strickland; and his nephew Michael Saylor. He is survived by: his mother Jean Strickland (Snyder); his children, Kristin Strickland (Chris), Jeremy Keith Strickland, Carson Strickland and Lea "Willie" Cole (Devin); his grandchildren, Kyland Brooke Strickland, Bristol Kate Strickland, Brantlee Strickland, Kyndall Beth Strickland, Savannah Joann, Finley Jo Strickland, Grey Barrett Cole, Scarlett Maeve Cole, Landon Carter and Madlyn Canter; his siblings, Becky Coleman (Ed), Rita Adkins, Tim Strickland (Tara), Karen Rife (Jim) and Todd Strickland; and his pet Smoky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill (202 Maple Ave, Oak Hill, OH 45656). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM.
