With solemn reverence, we commemorate Gary J. Thomas of Oak Hill, Ohio, whose life came to an end on April 26, 2026 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell J. Thomas and Wilma Thomas (McCain); and his siblings, June R. Williams and Lary J. Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Portia E. Thomas (McFann); his children, Marlo G. Yarnall (Kent), Trevor J. Thomas (Lucy), Bronwyn E. Patterson (Rick) and Trenton J. Thomas (LaChelle); his grandchildren, Moriah, Taylor Waller, Meagan, Steven Meisenzahl, Brady, Haleigh Thomas, Paige Patterson, Bailee Thomas, Mason Thomas, Blake Patterson, Aubree Thomas, Tanner Thomas, Teegan Thomas and Marley Yarnall; his great grandchildren, Maren Taylor Waller, Millie Ann Meisenzahl and Horace "Ace" Patrick Waller; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis McFann (Cathie), Eric McFann (Yvonne) and Wayne Williams. He is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home (202 Maple Ave, Oak Hill, OH 45656). A masonic service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
