He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Samuel and Lotus Arbutus Allen Hickman; his wife Delilah Bowling Hickman; and his brother Michael Allen Hickman. He is survived by: his children, Joel "Scott" Hickman (Michelle) of Lockport and Tracy Hickman (Larry Ruff) of Oak Hill, Ohio; his brothers, Patrick Truman Hickman of Cannonsburg, Daniel Russell Hickman of Summitt and Mark Allen Hickman (Veronica) of Ashland; and his grandchildren, Cody Hickman (Brenna Braasch), Devin Hickman (Kayla), Steven Hickman, Seth Hickman, Joel Hickman II, Maxwell Hickman, Benjamin Hickman and Jacob Hickman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Caniff Funeral Home (528 Wheatley Rd, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
