He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Coon and Irene Coon (Radabaugh); his wife Carolyn Coon; and his siblings, Nora Shephard and David Coon.
He is survived by: his children, Candi Strickland (Michael), Bobby Coon (Shelly), Billy Coon (Patti) and Cindy Castor (Dee); his grandchildren, Christopher, Caleb Strickland, Cody, Devin, Steven, Sara Coon, Brandon Coon (Brooke), Megan Ledford (Damon), Ryan Coon (Katie), Hayden Coon, Matthew, Kelli Castor and Allison Castor (Joe); his siblings, Judy Toland and Johnny Coon; Burton Neace. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill (202 Maple Ave, Oak Hill, OH 45656). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
