He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sr. Steele and Mary Lou Steele; his wife Charlene Steele; and his sister Loretta Weaver. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Steele, Stephanie Reyes, Erika Carter, Mary Lou Sparks and Dakota Steele; his siblings, Donna Ginther, Cathy Weeks (Clair) and Jim Burrows (Janie); and his grandchildren, Asai Russell, Cheyanne Lowe, Matt Jr. Carter, Remmington Carter, Stryker Carter, Priscilla Reyes and Giovanni Reyes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
