He was predeceased by : his parents, Julius Dobbelaere and Marie Dobbelaere (Vynckier); his son Mark Dobbelaere; his grandchildren, Brandon, Audrey and Amanda Dobbelaere; his siblings, George, Gerard, Paul Dobbelaere and Marie Louise Dobbelaere; and his close friend Susan Yoh.
He is survived by : his close friend Char of Oakwood; his children, Mike Dobbelaere (Sandy) of Oakwood, Rick Dobbelaere (Connie) of Oakwood, Craig "Butch" Dobbelaere (Andrea) of Oakwood, Cheryl Halter (Rodney Miller) of Oakwood and Sharisa Robbins (Randy) of Defiance; his daughter-in-law Beth Dobbelaere of Oakwood; and his siblings, Morris Dobbelaere of Oakwood, Bob Dobbelaere (Connie) of Michigan and Doris Richman of Wolcottville, IN. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
