Diana leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Diana’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret T. Smith and L. D. Smith; and her siblings, Lionel Smith and Carol Cain. She is survived by: her children, Brianna Smith of Oberlin and Parker Suddeth of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Amaya Lynne Smith and Ayden Joshua-Akai Smith; her daughter-in-law Carol Dent; and her brothers, Michael Smith (Caroline) of Oberlin and Mark Smith of Elyria.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Westwood Cemetery (429 Morgan St, Oberlin, OH 44074). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Russia Township Hall (46300 Butternut Ridge Rd, Oberlin, OH 44074).
