With sadness, we share the passing of Gary James Szuch of Oberlin, Ohio. Gary, born on October 25, 1950 in Amherst, Ohio, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Lynn Szuch; and his parents, James Szuch and Rose Szuch. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Coleman (David) of Vermilion and Tim Szuch (Amelia) of Mary Esther, Florida; his grandchildren, Deacon, Lennox, Parker and Theo; and his sister Janet Siron.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
