Vivian L. Verda Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian L. Verda (Oberlin, Ohio), born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Vivian departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Vivian may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Vivian leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Burleson and Emma Burleson; her siblings, Sharon and Gary; and her son Philip Sean.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Verda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (410 W Lorain St, Oberlin, OH 44074).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to any animal charity would be appreciated since Vivian loved our furry friends.
