He is survived by: his wife Deborah Emerson; his children, Edward Emerson III (Anita) and Shawn Emerson Sr. (Angie); his grandchildren, Corey (Morgan), Codey (Whitney), Angelica (Cody), Kyle (Kendra), Natasha, Donald (Kara), McCulland (Megan), Ben, Chrissy (Mark), Devin, Shawn Jr., Clara and Logan; his great grandchildren, Addison, Allison, Grayson, Jaxon, Luke, Zellie, Zeke, Azrael, Jordan, Ian, Ava, Nevaeh, Elijah, Kayden, Kylie, Ashton and Naomi; his siblings, Claudia Stander and Timmy Emerson (Pam); and his cousins, Dan and Bonnie Flippo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
