He is survived by: his wife Edna Johnson Gillespie; his children, Kyle Himes (Penny), Kenny Himes, Gina Bischoff (Jeff), John Vogt and Teresa Gillespie; and his siblings, James Himes, Charles Himes, Robert Himes (Sandra) and Joyce Peppers.
