John F. De Ran IV Obituary

We announce the death of John F. De Ran IV of Old Fort, Ohio, who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 65. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Ran and Patty De Ran; his wife Cindy Ahle; his granddaughter Gianna; his children, Kristen (Dylan), Katie (Brad), Sara (Jake), Eric and Jack; his sister Jennifer (Kevin); his nephews, John (Ashli) and Jason (Liz); his great-niece Nellie; and his great-nephews, Jack and Vincent. He was also cherished by his family, many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sandusky County Dog Kennel, Old Fort Local School District FFA or to Hopewell-Loudon Volleyball.
