She was predeceased by: her parent Jessie Cousert. She is survived by: her children, H. Donald Hamiel, Denise Hamiel, Ife El, Candra, Clarice Dawkins (Keith) and Jamey Cross (Shantinee); and her grandchildren, Tipate El, Shannon Burrows (William), Reyna Dawkins, Kareem El, Eryn Tennis (Wesley), Khadijah El, Samantha Dawkins, Jaya Mednikova (Yaro), Shakti Cross, Taylor Cross and Madison Cross.
