She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Ward and Marion Ward; her husband John George Schmidt; her daughter Joy Marie; and her brother Gary Ward.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tami, Traci and Teri; and her grandchildren, Joy Ramos, Jeffrey Miller, Hallie Chavez, Mallory Chavez, Jarod Chavez, Kaitlyn Chavez, Jordan Chavez, Kylie Chavez, Jackson Miller, Sophia Miller, Lily Ramos, Gabby Ramos, Forest Corbett and Willow Corbett.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (6265 Columbia Rd, Olmsted Falls, OH 44070).
