He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Bates and Charlie Bates. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Bill and Amy; his son-in-law Blair; his grandchildren, Taylor and Justin; and his siblings, Chuck and Bonnie.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ripepi Community Center (5784 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44129).
